Tutorial: Form 'Import Log Files' to analyze

Because a logfile contains a huge amount of data, you have the possibility to make a preselection.

Form

- Log files list:
Displays all files in the defined directory above.
If you right-click on a log file entry, you can import or delete the file data.

- Buttons (left):
'Import selected': Imports the data of the log file depending on the inclusion or exclusion settings.
'Delete selected': Deletes the data of the selected logfile.

- Checkbox 'Import all': -

- Include - Exclude area / Filetypes:
Include '.aspx': Imports files with the extension 'asx'.
Include '.php': Imports files with the extension 'php'.
Include '.html': Imports files with the extension 'htm'

- Buttons:
'Exclude bots': Edit bots by ip area or string to exclude.
'Include bots only': Edit bots by ip area or string to include.

- Found directories:
Shows all directories found during an import action.
Right-click on a directory entry allows you to include or exclude directories.
